Setup & Flow Control Tips
- Adjusting Flow: Simply turn the dial on the top of the pump to increase or reduce the airflow according to your tank’s needs.
- Preventing Damage: Do not use a hard stopper or clamp on the airline tubing to reduce airflow, as this creates back pressure that can damage the pump’s diaphragms. Always use the pump’s built-in dial.
- Safety First: If the pump sits below the water level, you must use a non-return (check) valve. This prevents water from siphoning back into the unit if the power goes out.
